Nepenthes sp. Papua,[1] also known as Nepenthes sp. West-Papua[2] and Nepenthes sp. Doormans Top 1,[3] is an undescribed tropical pitcher plant known from a single mountain in central West Papua.[1] The species is an extreme highlander, growing at elevations of 3100–3500 m above sea level,[1] and has on occasion been found to contain frozen water in its pitchers.[2]
